Background - What is leading quality audits?

Audit quality is the ability of an auditor to achieve the primary objective of providing reasonable assurance that the financial reports are free from material misstatements. The audit report also ensures that any material defects are identified and communicated to the auditor.

This includes ensuring that important accounting estimates and treatments are properly enforced.

A quality financial report is essential for informed capital markets and investors. An independent audit helps investors feel confident about the reliability of financial reports. It is vital to increase consistency in accounting audit execution and encourage excellent internal audits because solid financial information give investors’ confidence.

To ensure high-quality audits, internal audits should be conducted by experienced and professional auditors. Auditors must have the necessary experience and resources to effectively perform internal supervision and reviews. To identify and resolve audit issues and risks, strong accountability mechanisms should be in place. Auditors should be encouraged to respond promptly to any issues or risks.

Aims and Objectives of this course

This course Lead quality audits (based on BSBAUD512) covers the knowledge and skills needed to lead quality audits. This includes conducting entry and exit meetings, identifying and gathering relevant information, managing audit team resources and providing feedback to audit team members on their performance. 

The course is open to those who have a strong knowledge base in quality assurance and are skilled at using a variety quality management and auditing techniques to lead quality audits. Individuals can also monitor and supervise the activities and results of others in a quality-audit team.

Our lead quality audits course is based on the unit of competency of BSBAUD512. Whilst this course is not nationally recognised, it follows the learning outcomes and elements associated with that unit. The course contains

3. Ability to download your Certificate of Completion once assessment tasks are completed

Lead quality audits course is available online and completed in your own time. This Lead quality audits training course is based on the learning outcomes outlined above.

The course is typically designed to be completed in a minimum of four hours. However, the exact length of the course may depend on your ability and prior knowledge around the subject. 

As the training is delivered online, you are able to complete it at your own pace.

What Accreditation Will You Get?

After completing the Lead quality audits course, an assessment is conducted to determine if you have understood the information presented during the training course. If you pass this assessment, you receive a Certificate of Completion.

IMPORTANT NOTE whilst this course is based on the learning outcomes of the course provided, it is important to note that it is not a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment unless you opt for that option. Nationally Recognised training is only really required If you specifically require that unit of competency for a qualification or licence (typically this will require a practical component, further assessment and increased costs).
