Background - What is Audit reporting?

An auditor's report contains the auditor's opinion about whether financial statements are compliant with GAAP and free from material misstatement. The audit report is vital because banks, creditors and regulators require it.  An audit report that is clean means the company has followed accounting standards. A report that is unqualified means that there may be errors.

A negative report indicates that financial statements may have been inaccurate or misrepresented and did not conform to GAAP. 

Aims and Objectives of this course

This course Report quality audits (based on BSBAUD513) will help you earn the skills necessary to become a lead auditor, compliance manager, or a quality assurance lead with the help of the expert skills you gain from studying online.  

Our Report on quality audits course is based on the unit of competency of BSBAUD513. Whilst this course is not nationally recognised, it follows the learning outcomes and elements associated with that unit. The course contains

What will you learn by completing the training course?

This course will include an understanding of awareness of the relevant legislation and your responsibilities in reporting on quality audits.

Learning outcomes include:

1. Analyse compiled audit results against agreed audit plan and identify non-compliances
2. Produce draft audit report according to audit plan
3. Provide draft report to relevant stakeholders and seek feedback
4. Finalise audit report, integrating stakeholder feedback, as required
5. Present final audit report to auditee and other relevant
6. Determine timeframes for any corrective action required to deal with non-conformance, in consultation relevant stakeholders, including the auditee
7. Confirm corrective action follow-up procedures are agreed with relevant stakeholders
